I have talk to two jockeys before (Simon Yip and Yeung Kai Tong), they both say the horse race in HV not mean they are weaker than SHATIN horse, the reason why trainer like to change from shatin to HV is just because 直路短. if u ride the horse in a right position, normaly is easier to win than u ride in shatin. as the 走位 is much important than running in ST.
so normaly if the horse is a front running horse. when they change from st to hv. its have a higher chance than running in ST.
